After going to Don Bosco Academy - Mabalacat for the field demo of my nephew, Havrell, we decided to have our family lunch at Xtremely Xpresso Cafe at the Marquee Mall. This place sure is a good stop after visiting the hot air balloon festival at clark.. I'm still not sure if we'll be going.. :D  Anyway, Marquee Mall is just 15-30 mins away from Clark 

I decided before on my last post about Xtremely Xpresso Cafe to visit again.  Finally had lunch with the family.  This would be awesome :D

Marquee Mall [Places]

Marquee Mall

After going to the Don Bosco
Academy at Mabalacat for the foundation day.  We went to Marquee Mall to have lunch and to have some malling..

One of the attractions that is really fun for the kids is the fountain around the back.  Usually, I see kids playing here and you just see wet kids from time to time with their miscalculations with the running over the water openings :D

Don Bosco Academy Foundation Day [Events]

Don Bosco Academy

Ah.. Don Bosco.. the high school I've never attended.. Yep.. I entered worse.. the seminary.. eww.. Haha..

Of course, we came here for the food! hmm.. where are the coca cola stands??? weird.. that's the first thing I see during this kind of school events

A lot of sports during the event.. ahhh.. football, my first team sport.. Haha.. but I never played enough to know I was good or bad =P

And finally, the reason for going.. to see my nephew do some field demonstration.. I remember my elementary days.. I hate doing these demos..  I just feel it was so gay back then.. Haha.. funny.. this coming from a guy who did theater.. Bwahaha

Zombieland [Movie]

Zombieland

I hate horror movies but with Zombieland I really enjoyed watching this comedy horror movie.  I love the angry character, played by Woody Harrelson, who lost his way when his son died during the infestation.  I just love warfreak roles.  I can relate to them.  Bwahahaha! The smart commentary of the young teenager was also not bad.  Like in spider-man, the protagonist is like talking to himself / viewers of his opinions.  Is that normal?  I do that most of the time.. Haha.  Other characters were also good.  The girls were hot / cute and of course, annoying.. but you just have to love em.. since they're cute in a devious kind of way.

Love Happens [Movie]

Love Happens

I watched this movie expecting to be enticed with their chemistry but that didn't happen..  Maybe I was just expecting too much.  Initially, the movie was doing great.. presentation of their characters was good.. a problematic teacher (Aaron Eckhart) whose preachings have not been applied and whose not over with the traumatic death of his wife.. and then, a florist (Jennifer Aniston) who was unlucky with love.. having relationships with infidel men.

With that conflict at the start, I was hoping the plot would have developed more and with the title as "love happens" I thought they would face different conflicts about their difference but will end up together as if it was destiny.. but NO... the guy was just haunted by his lie and needed to face the reality.. and the girl just supported her.. like she was totally in to her after their date..

It's anti-climactic for me and somehow I feel that the male character was not really in love like he was just on a rebound.. having found the next beautiful girl in his life.  Hehe.. Maybe this movie should've been named "the rebound".. Joke!

Credit Card Safety

A friend was recently scammed through a phone call.  The call was to "verify" something and my friend told the information asked.  Having second thoughts about the inquiry, my friend called his credit card company and asked for any transactions earlier today.  Unfortunately there was and my friend hasn't used the card for awhile.

It is always a good practice to be knowledgeable with what we own.  With credit cards, we have the buying power but not always the paying power.

Country Style Bagel Deluxe [Food]

Country Style Bagel Deluxe

Reg invited me to have breakfast with him.  We decided to have it at Country Style.  You guys know that I love a good bagel in the morning so I ordered the bagel deluxe and requested for extra cream cheese.. hmmmhmmm... A bagel with lots and lots of scrambled egg with ham, cheese, cream cheese! So yummy it's sinful! (My doctor will get angry at me again.. haha)  Add coffee to that and you're ready to tackle never ending program bugs.. Woot!

My brother and I decided to have our usual deflating tires checked.  We went to the Quiambao-Vitug Trading.  It's along McArthur Hi-way in front of the Lotto at Juliana, City of San Fernando. 

We both payed P100 each for our problematic tires =P

After getting past EDSA and reaching Shell NLEX, I really needed a cup of coffee to wake me up.  I hate coffee from Select and Jollibee so we decided to get coffee at Burger King - BK Joe.  It's not as tasty as starbucks.. haha!  but Merflor likes the "robotic" coffee cup (she says it looks futuristic).  Oh well, coffee is still coffee.  Next stop.. San Fernando!
